NUK operates on stretched donor funding while demand for its programs continues to grow. Every contribution — large or small — funds direct, tangible services: a cataract surgery, a worker rights training session, a micro-credit loan, or a girl's bicycle to reach school safely.
Where your donation goes
- Health care: outreach eye camps and cataract surgeries through Kishoreganj Eye Hospital and Egarosindur Community Hospital.
- Labour rights: compliance training and workplace rights education through the Garment Worker Support Program.
- Leadership: training for newly elected women councillors through the Women's Political Representation Program.
- Youth empowerment: self-defence training and bicycle access for rural girls through Sports for Women's Empowerment.
NUK is registered as a national women's NGO under the Societies Act XXI-1860 (S-3228) and with the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh.
